How do I use a toner cartridge?

First, turn off your printer and open the front cover. Take out the old toner cartridge slowly. You will usually see the toner number written on it. This helps you confirm you are using the correct replacement.

Next, take the new toner cartridge out of the box. Gently shake it from side to side a few times. This helps spread the toner powder evenly inside so your prints come out clean.

Remove any protective tape or cover from the cartridge. This step is important. If you forget it, the printer will not print.

Now slide the toner cartridge into the printer until it clicks into place. Close the printer cover and turn the printer back on.

That’s it. Your printer is ready to print.
