Quick Method (Takes 10 Seconds)

Just look at the old toner cartridge inside your printer.
The toner number is printed directly on the cartridge label.

Example:

  • HP → 106A, 83A, 17A, 55A, etc.

  • Canon → EXV-51, 052, GPR-55, etc.

  • Brother → TN-2420, TN-660, etc.

If You Don’t Have the Old Toner — Do This

You can find the correct toner using the printer model.

Step 1 — Find Your Printer Model Name

The model is printed on the front or top of the printer.

Examples:

  • HP Laser 107a

  • HP MFP 135w

  • Canon IR 2525

  • Brother DCP-L2540DW

Step 2 — Search the Printer Model on Dotinks

Use our search bar and type the model name.

Example: Search "HP 135a" → You’ll see 106A toner.

How to Pick the Right Toner (If There Are Variants)

Some printers use:

  • Standard Yield (prints ~1,000 pages)

  • High Yield / X-Version (prints ~2,000–3,000 pages)

Which should you choose?

Print Volume Recommended
< 1,000 pages/month Standard Yield
1,000–4,000 pages/month High Yield / XL
> 4,000 pages/month Copier Leasing Plan (better)

If you print every day, high yield saves more money over time.
